Basic Aikido Class

The ongoing Basic Class picks up where the Introductory Class leaves off. A wider range of techniques are explored, tumbling skills refined, and additional exercvises in mind/body integration introduced and practiced. Course material in the class prepares students for their first few rank examinations. The curriculum includes:

  • Posture & Breathing
  • Warm-up Exercises
  • Body Movement and Coordination Exercises
  • Tumbling and Safe Falling Skills
  • Strikes
  • Basic Self-Defense Techniques

Students attending this class are also encouraged to attend, Mixed Rank and Weapons classes.

This course is ongoing and part of the standard dojo membership fee.
